Okay so I couldn't wait until the birth to find out. I have no idea how some of you do it. I literally go into lock down mode and refuse to pick a name or buy anything until I know exactly who I'm buying it for.
So on Valentine's Day, my husband gave me a gift. He took me to the coolest 3d ultrasound place complete with a sectional couch for the family watching and a big screen tv to see the ultrasound. The 3d pictures were totally cool. You could actually see the umbilical cord passing by the face. The tech doing the ultrasound was so much nicer than the one we had at my ob. She answered any questions I had and was actually excited for our little family. It was all so relaxing that I could have stayed in there for hours.
We walked out of there with printed 3d pictures of our little one and a CD with the whole 20 minutes worth of shots AND a dvd with the whole session set to lullabies! This was all cheaper than going back to my ob and asking them to do another ultrasound because my insurance wouldn't cover it.
I loved loved loved my Valentines Day gift and celebrated with some friends at dinner that night.
Oh and yes we did find out what it was for sure.....bring on the pink baby!!

I'm so excited for you to finally get your little girl. Hooray!
So, what are the name choices? Gertrude, Eunice, Bertha? We are so excited! I'm sure your boys are doing crazy dances of pink joy.
Yay, yay, yay!!!!!!! Did you cry? That sounds like a dream ultrasound, I'm so glad you were able to do it and can feel confident that it is a girl now! Congratulations!!!
That is so exciting! Congrats. I bet it was so fun to see her on the 3D!
Hooray for you! I'm glad you bit the bullet and had another check. Think pink Brown family!
I want to be a fly on the wall of the store the first time you go in and finally get to have at the 75% of the store that is little girl stuff!!!! Poor Kyle, it is so much trickier dressing the darlings -- so many more parts - the bloomers, dress, matching skull scrunchie, booties. . . ENJOY!
PS: my word verification was Jignool. I think that would be a very lovely name. . . don't you;)
What great news. Girls clothes are much cuter and so much more fun than boys! I am so thrilled for you.
FYI--if you didn't cry, I'm crying for you! Hooray!
